Look at websites or magazines such as GQ and Askmen. They're the two that I use. They've helped me loads and they really show you how to finish up your outfit as well as the basics.
Hope this helps.

Since your college student, I would go for a young urbanlook.
Try shopping at metropark for T's and long sleeve shirts, you can go to there website and check out there gear. Right now they are having a sale.
For jeans, every guy needs one really good jeans. Buy diesel jeans at macy or diesel.com or a diesel store. But the zantity. Go in and try them on and ask for assitance. I know these jeans cost like 180 dollar, but they will last you for the next five years. Kind like a great car. Make sure you buy the blue ones.
I would buy your dress shoes from aldo, since you can get them for like 35-75 dollar which is pretty cheap. Go to your local mall or check out there websites.
If you want further advice continue to ask

Re: Summer Fashion Advice Needed
Summers are all about accessories. It would be wise to invest in them. Good watch, sunglasses and rings. Those things makes a person look like hes "getting some".
I think jeans are overrated. You should only invest in few expensive ones that you can wear throughout the year. Japanese Denim jeans are the best. Thats all you need.
As far as shoes, Slip-ons/Loafers are sexy and can be pulled off with almost anything.
Also- I strongly recommend that you invest in various kind of shirts, for instance, plaid, v-neck and polo so on and so forth.

I take the route of comfortable and massive social impact. I like to be polarizing with my clothes. The bitches either want to fuck or, or they hate me. Summer is about staying cool and comfortable. I'd say where low vnecks with, jeans that fit you well (unless you go to the beach, then wear board shorts or boat pants), and some glasses with square frames. You don't need much else. I think accessories are overrated if you're wearing them just to wear them. Put on one super cool accessory. Glasses might be just that. It's summer ya know

I agree with Lilac that GQ is a great magazine to subscribe too. That and Esquire are the two that I get every month. Here are some quick points to help you get started.
-H & M is a great place to shop. They have in style, affordable clothing. Also, check out your local smaller stores because you never know when you could find your next favorite place to shop.
-Bright colors are in right now. Pair a bright color with either a neutral or one more bright color in the same family. For example, a bright red shirt with khaki or orange shorts. Never do more than two bright colors and never do ones that are in different families. I saw a guy at a bar the other day with a bright green shirt and bright pink shorts: fail!
-Fit is always important. You want your shirts and pants to fit you as best as possible. You want things to be snug without pulling. You want your outline in the mirror when clothed to be your outline. Things like bulky cargos or loose fitting shirts take away from this and should be avoided.
-If sweating is an issue for you, wear synthetic materials. Check out the sports wear section at any Macy's and see what those shirts are made from. Those are the materials that you want because they wisk away sweat and evaporate it. Cotton will tend to soak in your sweat.
-Go to a sun glass store and see if they have a facial chart to show which types of frames work best on which types of faces. The shape of your face will determine which types of frames will look best on you.
-Reply to your own threads. People on the Bravohood give awesome advice and really care. But if you don't reply to your own thread, it appears as if your not paying attention, your not applying what is typed, you don't care, and we are wasting our time.
