Discuss boots....
I need to get some new ones and I've been putting it off. What are good ones to get that are stylish? Bravo said to check out Zappos which I have but they're stocked full of Doc Marten's which got a nay vote on here...
Are Blundstones stylish? I literally have no clue which way to go.

Hi Virgil. I'm not a boot expert, but like many things fashion it depends on your overall look and where you plan to wear them. I hadn't heard of Blundstones before so I had a look at their website - I'll be honest, I don't like them, but that may be because they are the opposite of my look. Even their "dress" boots look like they are made for a guy who has to hike across 3 miles of the Australian Outback to get to civilisation. So if that sort of outdoorsy/casual look is what you're after, then they might work, but if you're thinking something nice to wear to a bar or club, I'd give them a miss.
Docs are definitely out (for this decade at least).
As for other recommendations, afraid I don't know US shoe manufacturers or websites - sorry mate.
Cheers,
KS

I'm not looking for anything to dressy. Something I cam wear in jeans on a d2 or at a bar or club and not look like a slob. I already have nice shoes for when I wear a suit or slacks so I won't be wearing them in a formal setting. My look is mostly casual. Usually jeans, a long sleeved collared shirt with the cuffs rolled up.

Oh man i LOVE boots bro thats all wear...try Frye boots! they last long and have a wide variety of styles from uber casual, cowboy, rugged biker, and some dressy ones. Depending on your budget if you got the bills i would also consider a pair of Kenneth Cole boots or Charles David. There collections are the shit! Try looking on Bluefly for a discounted pair of nice shoes

Re: Discuss boots....
Sorry Virgil - I dropped out on this because I don't wear boots other than dress ones (and only very occasionally) so I wasn't the right guy! But GP's tip on Kenneth Cole is good - they sometimes have some really nice stuff, although not always cheap. Frye and Charles David I'm not familiar with.
