Guys,
I read the game three years ago, I'm now in the process of studying it for the first time. Desecting it with high lighter pens looking for techniques, skills, pointers and PUA and literary mentors that washed over me on the first time of reading. I picked up a discarded paperback copy for 50p at a charity shop for this purpose, rather than deface a brand new copy and add to Style's bank account. Anyway, nestling in pages 42-45 is a technique devised by Two timer called 'The October Man Sequence' . Anyone know anything more about this, and especially whether anyone has had any successes using it?
Kind Regards
Bondus

I like where your head is, but honestly you are wasting time. You will learn way more in one night in the field than 8 hours of dissecting "The Game". There just isn't alot of information in there, its more of a "This is what's possible" guide.
I suggest that you speak with Smoothcall during his monday night flashchat. He has experience with the october man sequence. In my experience though, it's not as effective as just being awesome. It's kind of like a "shortcut" for people who are lazy. I'd rather use the time it takes to learn the sequence to talk to women or make money.

Re: The October Man Sequence
Since you text me earlier asking about this, I checked it out and found a PDF I skimmed through.
I think its helpful to have a working knowledge of NLP, but not a fan of the manipulation stuff. Always seems to me like a creepy bunch of guys trying to figure out some super secret inner circle tactic that can seduce any woman in 13 seconds.
There are a lot of warnings on this too, about how it can fuck girls up. I'm not really qualified to say if thats true, but I just don't like it and think a lot of guys get off on the fact they have some secret routine that will never fail.
Personally, even if I was a master at this kind of stuff, i think I'd feel like a complete cunt for manipulating girls into bed. I want it to be because I'm a genuine, fun, value giving guy that everyone wants to be around for ME, not some routine.
I think you're spending too much time analysing man, i think it would be more beneficial to start a 2 approaches a day for a month thread and improve that way.

I hear you science and i agree.
I remember the book mentioning Ross Jeffries asking a waitress if she found him attractive and she just laughed at him, he then done something and he ended up number-closing then getting a D2 and f-closing. It was pure NLP, made her attracted to him etc but in my opinion it is just not 'natural'.
Not wanting to piss off anybody whos deep into NLP, i just think that using some sort of hypnosis to force attraction upon a girl is really creepy, 'almost rape' if you ask me.
Best way is to become awesome like these guys said. October man sequence sounds familiar but i dont know anything about it though sorry.

Bondus, I know when I was just starting out this would have gone in one ear and out the other but I'll say it anyway. Instead of studying tons of material the best thing you can do is read just enough to get out in the field and start using it. Come back and read more when you have questions raised from your experience in the field.

This is to do with in field experience. Presently I'm using 100% canned material and frankly it feels mechanical, clunky and awkward. I need to bring this percentage down, what I'm hoping is to be able to use 1 or two canned openers and then switch to natural convo without being reduced to dull, meaningless, benile, anile small talk. I'm using way too much technology on my sarges. I would be nice to learn how to elicit her values without having to ask "And what do you enjoy doing?" I have no interest in wanting to change her internal reality, her identity or her timeline or using this to exploit her. This is bordering on abuse, not a line I ever intend to cross. I realise this stuff has potential to do unspeakable harm to anyone and that's not something I ever want to do either. All I want to know is are we physically, emotionally and sexually compatible, as she is presently, if so great, if not, LJBF's

Why don't you make the mechanical things feel more natural?
For example, if the opener is just not 'you but it works, why not use words you would use in the opener to make it feel natural? The questions you ask her, say it how you would actually say it instead of doing it word for word.
When you look at it that way you are still being you, you just have pointers on where to move the conversation. I found changing the openers i read and make them fit with me really puts me at ease in the field and that feeds my confidence and inner game when i hook.

You are trying to do too much, too fast. Get comfortable with the canned stuff first. You don't quite understand WHY it works and how to replicate it in your normal speech yet. Patience young grasshopper. Keep practice your canned material until they feel naturalBondus wrote:This is to do with in field experience. AH ha! (bing: lightbulb moment). Thanks Jay-T. Ok, this is a game changer. I've been using canned material like stock phrases and I think sub/unconsciously women have been picking on the microtells leaking from my person that these aren't in fact my own words. Leading to a superficial transitory interest which quickly wains.

Re: The October Man Sequence
That was a ton of big words for "Women are perceptive".
You're absolutely right Bondus. If you don't feel comfortable doing them, women will notice. They pick up on small things (all people do really). So get comfortable with the canned material. Realize they work for a reason, then figure out what that reason is. That's when you can start holding a natural conversation that accomplishes the same as routines. Not to mention, once you internalize these routines, you have something to fall back on when you hit that "fuck...what do i say now?" moment. And you will have those.
